Jakob Cedergren was born in Lund, Sweden, and moved to Denmark at the age of six. He graduated from the Danish School of Performing Arts in 1997. Jakob made his first big screen debut as the lead in the historical series THE SPIDER in 2000, and starred in his first major feature film REMBRANDT in 2003. Throughout the years, he has worked between theater, film and television, both in Denmark and abroad. Some of his roles include those in the Danish films TERRIBLY HAPPY by Henrik Robert Genz, DARK HORSE by Dagur Kari, SUBMARINO by Thomas Vinterberg, and THE GUILTY by Gustav Möller. He has also worked with Sally Potter in the movie RAGE. Jakob has worked on TV series in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, adn Germany. Growing up, he lived in different countries, which is perhaps why traveling and working is one of his favourite combos.
