Klara Kuk, born in 1997, is an actress from Ljubljana, Slovenia. After graduating from the Academy of Theater, Radio, Film and Television in 2021, she's now pursuing a master's degree in Stage Acting. She has also participated in acting workshops and further education. In 2023, she was part of the Acting Studio in the Talents Sarajevo program at the Sarajevo Film Festival. She has been regularly collaborating with the Ljubljana City Theater since 2019, where she had the opportunity to portray a number of different roles, the most notable being Aglaja Ivanovna Yenpančina in Dostoyevsky's THE IDIOT. In 2022, she also started collaborating with Mini Teater, where she played Honey in WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF? She appeared in several TV series, student short films, and feature films. In 2019, she played a supporting role in the feature youth film DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE, which received the Vesna award for Best Feature Film. In 2020, she played the lead role in the teaser VIDA, A SIMPLE LIFE. In 2021, she played a supporting role in the feature film ROLE MODEL, which premiered in 2023. At the beginning of 2024, she played the leading role in the feature film called EVERYTHING THAT IS WRONG WITH YOU. She was a part of documentary projects and national awareness campaigns focused on gender equality and the eradication of violence against women in collaboration with the Institute for the Study of Gender Equality.
