Casting director

Laura Muccino is an Italian casting director based in Rome. She began working as a casting director in 1998. Since then, she has cast more than 60 feature films with directors such as Saverio Costanzo, Stefano Sollima, Asghar Farhadi, Ken Loach, Andrej Konchalowsky, Gabriele Muccino, Daniele Vicari, Cristina Comencini, Francesca Comencini, and for acclaimed TV series such as GOMORRAH, MY BRILLIANT FRIEND, SUBURRA, and ZEROZEROZERO. She’s the president of the UICD (Italian Casting Director’s Union) and a member of the ICDA. Since 2011, she is also the coordinator and teacher of the acting course at the Gianmaria Volonté Cinematic Art School in Rome.
