Sam Jones is a UK Casting Director working across film, television, theatre, dance / theatre, cross-genre multi-media and art projects. Her recent TV work includes: Hugo Blick’s THE ENGLISH and BLACK EARTH RISING; THE LONG CALL; THE TRICK; RIDLEY ROAD; WANDERLUST; LIFE; NW; DON’T FORGET THE DRIVER; THE LOST HONOUR OF CHRISTOPHER JEFFERIES; TO PROVIDE ALL PEOPLE, and THE HOLLOW CROWN. She has been Head of Casting for the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Almeida Theatre and National Theatre Wales. Her theatre work includes productions at the National Theatre, RSC, Royal Court, Hampstead Theatre, Old Vic, Young Vic, regional theatres and many London West End shows. She’s also worked internationally with leading directors on art, theatre, dance / theatre and opera projects in UK, France, Denmark, Austria, Italy, and USA.  She is an Honorary Fellow at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, as well as a member of the Casting Directors’ Guild, the International Casting Director’s Association, BAFTA, and the European Film Academy.
