Zlatko Burić debuted in Danish cinema in the legendary role of “Milo” in Nicolas Winding Refn’s PUSHER (1996). For this performance, he won Best Supporting Actor at the Danish Critic’s Association Award, Bodil Awards. Zlatko then moved on to television and had a central role in the ensemble character series TAXA (1997-1999) to later rekindle with Nicolas Winding-Refn in BLEEDER (1999) opposite Mads Mikkelsen and later again as “Milo” in the completion of the trilogy in PUSHER 3 (2005). International titles include Stephen Frears’ DIRTY PRETTY THINGS (2002) opposite Chiwetel Ejiofor, Roland Emmerich’s 2012 (2009) opposite John Cusack, and opposite Elle Fanning in Max Minghella’s film TEEN SPIRIT (2018). In 2021, Zlatko joined forces with Swedish director Ruben Osẗlund in TRIANGLE OF SADNESS which won the coveted Palmed’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2022. Later the same year, Zlatko won Best Actor at the European Film Awards for his role as Dimitri. In 2023, he starred in the Netflix series COPENHAGEN COWBOY by Nicolas Winding Refn and in Martin Skovbjerg's film COPENHAGEN DOES NOT EXIST (2023).
